Dinosaur Outfit: Rocket-paced indie fun

Dinosaur Outift (formerly Lego Castles) are uber cool Bath students who provide a master class in mashing up indie heroes The Cure, The Strokes and Maximo Park with their ‘Maccabees‘-esque, ’Two Door Cinema Club’ style.

Single ‘Young Hearts’ has been championed by Huw Stevens (BBC Radio 1) and Tom Robinson (BBC Radio 6), with the added accolade of being the sound track to Sky Sports Euro 2012 advertising campaign.  Rock star trainer maker Converse has this to say … “Rocket-paced indie, preparing to take, quite literally, many a young heart. More lyrically proficiant than many of today’s jaunty lot – prepare for ‘Young hearts’ to get your girl friend dancing, and for you to begrudgingly admit that it’s pretty darn good.”

Dubbed “The best new band from Bath in years” by the infamous Moles Club (and they should know as every decent band has passed through their cavanous walls at some time or other) the westcountry outfit promise much.

Dinosaur Outfit will be joined at The Good Ship on 21st October by Athens Polytechnic, Balaclava Kid & Dad and The Glitter Shit Penguins.

Monster Truck III. feat Gallops, Men & Giant Paw – TONIGHT!!

Finally it’s almost here, the gig of the month & unlike the new F1 season this will be no damp squib, we can promise you that. The build up & constant badgering is truly worth it! Although sadly Project:Komakino have not made it to the start line as their drummer failed to expect the Spanish Inquisition & faces a Madrid Court, properly for partaking in some Rock n Roll debauchery! Despite this unfortunate turn of events we still boast the mighty bleepy post-math rock of Gallops, the anthemia punk of Men & the quirky indie of Giant Paw – who will be getting things rolling at around 8 o’clock, that’s 20:00 hours. It’s going to be special, o yes & in readiness why not head to their respective myspaces (listed below) & familiarise yourselves with the stupendous tuneage that awaits your ear-spaces tonight!
